A Blue Plaque for The Three Cups?

I visited Sarehole Mill recently and saw that a blue plaque by the entrance records Tolkien's connections with that interesting old building.

Isn't it about time that a similar plaque is placed outside The Three Cups to let the general public and visitors to Lyme Regis know what they are missing while this venerable hostelry is kept closed?

A booklet called "Signs of History, A Guide to the Historical Plaques and Notable Buildings of Lyme Regis", published by The Lyme Regis Society, is available from The Lyme Regis Museum (tel 01297 443370) and lists all the blue plaques in Lyme Regis as of 2002. Sadly, there is no mention of one to commemorate Tolkien's many visits to the town.
