Dorset - The place to be
The Daily Mail has an article today on the growing popularity of the Dorset coast for UK holiday makers. Click here to read the article. So there will be a need for more hotel beds. And why not draw in more tourists by opening a world famous attraction: the hotel where Tolkien, Jane Austen, Tennyson and Chesterton stayed and where Jeremy Irons acted?

This week I received a statement from South West Tourism which speaks of their growing alarm at the loss of visitor beds in the area. They are so concerned that they are undertaking an audit of the situation. The statement goes on to say that the reopening of such an historically important hotel as the Three Cups would drive tourism into Lyme Regis and ensure the stability of the local economy.
