Wouldn't it be nice?

Wouldn't it be nice if the re-opened Three Cups Hotel could appear on a list of best historical pubs like the one recently published by The Daily Telegraph. Click through for further details.

The list, entitled "London's best historical pubs: the ultimate tour", mentions buildings having historical associations with authors, poets, actors, generals, possibly painters and definitely links to the colonies in America. Mention is also made of interesting architecture and interiors. I like the opening sentence of the accompanying blog, "There are few more quintessentially English experiences than supping a pint of ale in a centuries-old public house, where the walls could tell you stories."

If those are the only qualifying criteria, then The Three Cups HOTEL should definitely be on a list of the best historical pubs in the South West of England, if not the whole country. Of course, as a HOTEL, it should also be on a list of the most fascinating historical places to stay.
