Campaigning for preservation of the hotel where J.R.R. Tolkien stayed and gained inspiration for his mythology. Jane Austen, G.K. Chesterton, Tennyson and H.W. Longfellow were also guests. Quantifying the Potential

A report on the BBC news website entitled "Film locations boost UK tourism" quotes figures from a report for the value of tourist visits to see places where films and TV dramas have been filmed.

If anyone has read the report, "How Film and Television Programmes Promote Tourism in the UK", please post a comment about references to Lyme Regis or the lack of them.
