Campaigning for preservation of the hotel where J.R.R. Tolkien stayed and gained inspiration for his mythology. Jane Austen, G.K. Chesterton, Tennyson and H.W. Longfellow were also guests. Demolition Plans Submitted - Last Chance To Act

According to a report in The Bridport News (click here to read), Palmers have submitted their plans to demolish [a large part of] The Three Cups Hotel [and gut the rest] to West Dorset District Council. Accommodation, Accommodation, Accommodation

"Location, location, location" is a phrase often used to emphasise one key success factor for hotels but I think accommodation needs to be highlighted in the business case for urban pubs which used to be hotels.
