Campaigning for preservation of the hotel where J.R.R. Tolkien stayed and gained inspiration for his mythology. Jane Austen, G.K. Chesterton, Tennyson and H.W. Longfellow were also guests. Location, Location, History and Enchantment

I've just posted an article on HollywoodJesus about locations in Northern Ireland associated with C.S. Lewis. One of the most notable is The Old Inn at Crawfordsburn where Lewis and his wife spent their honeymoon. It should be noted that the proprietors of this hotel are trading on their history and cultural connections very successfully even though they are not in a famous resort. This is more than the luck of the Irish, it's common sense and being open for business!
