Campaigning for preservation of the hotel where J.R.R. Tolkien stayed and gained inspiration for his mythology. Jane Austen, G.K. Chesterton, Tennyson and H.W. Longfellow were also guests. Economic Climate Favours Holidays in England

There have been various reports of increased demand for holidays in the UK from people who would normally go abroad. See "Surge in UK holiday enquiries". This could be a good time to consider (re)opening a seaside hotel.
